Apparel Industry applauds the inauguration of the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC)

New Delhi/ Gurugram, 27^th July 2023: Apparel Industry applauded the world-class convention centre, inaugurated by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi yesterday in New Delhi. Speaking at the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC), Chairman AEPC, Shri Naren Goenka said, “The state-of-art exhibition centre- Bharat Mandapam is a reflection of India’s growing aspirations and its improved clout on the global stage. The Prime Minister’s confidence in India’s intrinsic strength was truly inspiring.”

The multiple modern facilities, including convention centres, exhibition halls and amphitheaters with India’s largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) at Pragati Maidan will provide the industry with integrated world class facilities to showcase Made-in-India products.

Further Shri Goenka underlined, “International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) along with the other incentives truly reflect that India is on the right path to become world economic power soon.”

Shri Mithileshwar Thakur, Secretary General AEPC remarked, “These state-of-art facilities, at par with the global standards, are truly embodiments of a confident, progressive and self- reliant India.”
